The answers families ask us first

Choosing in-home care raises real questions. Here are honest answers to the ones we hear most — and we're always a phone call away for the rest.

Getting started

How do we get started with care?
It begins with a free, no-obligation consultation. We visit your home, listen to your loved one's needs, answer your questions, and help you understand the options. From there, we build a personalized care plan and hand-match a caregiver. There's no cost or commitment just to talk.
How quickly can care begin?
In many cases care can start within days of your consultation. The exact timing depends on the level of care needed and caregiver availability in your area — during your consultation we'll give you a realistic timeframe for your specific situation.
Do you provide care where I live?
We serve ten Maryland counties: Prince George's, Montgomery, Charles, Calvert, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Frederick, Howard, Harford, and St. Mary's. If you're near any of these, call us and we'll confirm availability in your specific area.

Cost & payment

How much does in-home care cost?
Cost depends on the type of care and the number of hours each week, so there's no single price that fits everyone. We'll walk you through pricing clearly during your free consultation, with no hidden fees and no pressure. You'll know exactly what to expect before any care begins.
What payment options do you accept?
We work with families on a range of payment arrangements. Because coverage and eligibility vary by individual and program, the best step is a quick call — we'll help you understand which options may apply to your situation and answer any billing questions directly.
Is there a long-term contract?
We focus on earning your trust through the quality of our care, not by locking families into rigid commitments. We'll explain all terms plainly during your consultation so there are no surprises.

Our caregivers

Are your caregivers screened and trained?
Yes. Every caregiver is screened and trained before they ever enter a client's home. We choose caregivers not only for their qualifications but for the patience, warmth, and reliability this work genuinely requires. As a Maryland-licensed agency (RSA-01334), we're accountable to state oversight standards.
Will my loved one have the same caregiver?
We aim for consistency, because trust and comfort grow from familiar faces. We hand-match caregivers to each client's needs and personality, and we work to keep that relationship steady over time.
What if the caregiver isn't the right fit?
Fit matters, and sometimes the first match isn't perfect. Just tell us — our office stays in close contact and we'll make it right, including matching a different caregiver if that's what works best for your family.

Types of care

What services do you provide?
We offer companion care, personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene), recovery and post-surgical support, respite care for family caregivers, meal preparation, and mobility and transportation assistance. Care is always built around the individual.
What's the difference between companion care and personal care?
Companion care focuses on social connection and everyday support — conversation, engagement, light help around the home. Personal care includes hands-on assistance with activities like bathing, grooming, and dressing. Many clients benefit from a blend of both, and we'll help you find the right mix.
Can you help after a hospital stay or surgery?
Absolutely. Our recovery and post-surgical support helps with mobility, medication reminders, and daily activities during the vulnerable weeks after a discharge — helping your loved one heal safely at home and reducing the chance of a return trip to the hospital.
